"The concept of Klangkapsel / Sound Capsule 013 is Kirschblüte / Cherry Blossom. This composition by the Italian sound designer Stefano Bertoli (Waldorf Iridium) and Gerhard Hallstatt (all other instruments) was inspired by the Japanese tradition Hanami, the watching of Sakura, the cherry blossoms, a phenomenon that only lasts for a couple of days. There is nothing more silent than blossoms falling or "raining" from a tree - so one idea of this sound capsule was also to create a soundtrack to allow also the ears to "see" this. In Japan the Hanami tradition is that important that meteorologists established a specific cherry blossom forecast. This recording is also a part of the Allerseelen project Geräuschprinzessin / Sound Princess. Otohime, Sound Princess, is an acoustic background for toilets in public and private places. Especially Japanese women try to avoid at all costs that others may hear their private sounds. There are also portable sound princesses, and they exist as apps too. This invention has also an ecological and economical aspect: Less water is wasted. Oto is the Japanese word for sound, ohimesame means princess - but in mythology, Otohime is also a daughter of the Japanese sea god. The Allerseelen Geräuschprinzessin project is a work in progress, some of these sound princesses will come into existence in a close collaboration with Stefano Bertoli. All of them will be published one day as a special release." (Gerhard Hallstatt 01.04.2023)

Waldorf Iridium: Stefano Bertoli.
All other instruments: Gerhard Hallstatt.
Recorded at Haus zur letzten Latern.
Mastered at Dungeon Studio (Rhenania) by Marcel P.
