Compared to Sturmpercht's other works, Bergentrückt is far more darker and sinister. Old alpine legends and folklore come to life in the freezing forests and mountains. I greatly enjoy not only the instrumental sound of each song, as each song is quite individual in its own right, but also the use of clever word play and dialect in the lyrics. Overall, an amazing atmospheric album. Its just a shame that its almost impossible to find the lyrics anywhere on the internet.

But fortunately we live in a digital age, where material values dissolve more and more, so I can enjoy this great music without having something physical!
